Philip Simons
Philip graduated from Nottingham with BSc (Hons) in Agricultural Science in 1985.
After two years on the family farm he trained with ADAS in Norfolk, and as an agronomist to Norfolk farmers for the last twenty four years. Philip became a Norfolk Nuffield Scholar in 1992.
Philip’s working area covers mainly East Norfolk where cropping and soil types are diverse. He provides in depth agronomy advice on all main combinable crops, sugar beet, potatoes, maize and vining peas.
Philip maintains his challenge is to help clients maximise their arable profitability through correct rotation, good soil management, choice of cropping and appropriate levels of input.
