Phil Strachan
Before completing a MSc in Crop Protection Technology at Reading University, Phil worked with leading agrochemical manufacturer in Suffolk.
Following university Phil joined ADAS as an agronomist at the main office in Wolverhampton before returning to field agronomy in Cambridgeshire and West Suffolk, where he still operates with clients on a range of soil types from peat to blowing sand.
Phil’s interest is with combinable crops and sugar beet, but maintains an interest in the environmental side of farming having worked on several government funded projects.
